As part of this important day, Room 17 has woven Indigenous History and lessons throughout the school year. We recognize the importance of celebrating the heritage, diverse cultures and achievements of First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples. We have committed to honouring and engaging in life long learning about the many cultures and people that make up our great country. With gratitude and pride we want to share a small sample of our class' artwork and writing that has been inspired by Canadian Indigenous Artists.
